Male Skin Vs. Female Skin
Men and women actually have significantly different skin and hence this affects the way they should approach skincare. For example, men have thicker skin and they produce more oil. As such, men are able to exfoliate more frequently than woman without any issues. However, by producing more skin oils they are more likely to develop acne and blackheads.
Putting aside the genetic differences between male and female skin, there are lifestyle factors that result in men and women having different skin as well. The most obvious (and important) one is that men don’t take as good care of their skin as women do. This isn’t limited to the usage of skincare products but also the lack of sunscreen use among men. The outcome is that men tend to have more wrinkles and lines on their skin.
