Apple Cider Vinegar - Yay or Nay?
In terms of skin care, apple cider vinegar is a must-have in your arsenal. While it may not bear the most pleasant and inviting smell, its applications to both your skin and overall health cannot be denied. Apple cider vinegar or "ACV" for short is a type of vinegar made from apple cider that has been used for centuries. ACV is used for anything and everything - whether it be cooking or curing various ailments. Most importantly though, ACV is a natural, multi-purpose skin care gem.
It works to balance out the pH of the skin and given the pH related issues most skin care products have - this is a terrific natural solution. Among its benefits include exfoliation of the skin and acne treatment (plus prevention). It is best used either alone on the skin or with bentonite clay (in place of water). Daily use is most ideal for benefits.
Apple cider vinegar can also be used to remove moles! Simply apply it to a piece of cotton and put a band-aid on top of that (onto the mole). The process takes a few days (done 1-2x a day - ideally overnight) and the surrounding area may become dark red.
